# Abbe Lane Estate Collection Will Be Offered in Two Auctions

John Moran Auctioneers announced December and February sales spanning jewelry, performance clothing, art and home furnishings.

John Moran Auctioneers announced October 28 that property from entertainer Abbe Lane’s estate will be offered in two sales, beginning December 9, 2026.

The first auction is scheduled for 10 a.m. Pacific Standard Time and will focus on jewelry, watches and luxury items, including gowns Lane wore during her life and career. The auction house identified jewelry by Harry Winston, David Webb, Cartier and Oscar Heyman among the collection.

A second sale, scheduled for February 23, 2027, will include fine art, furniture, lighting, decorative objects and additional jewelry and accessories from Lane’s Los Angeles home. The announcement describes planned offerings; neither sale has taken place.

Lane’s career crossed Broadway, recording, Italian film and television, and nightclub performance. She sang with Xavier Cugat’s orchestra and later appeared opposite Tony Randall in the Broadway musical “Oh, Captain!”

The auction house said the collection was entrusted to it by the Leff family. Lane died in Los Angeles on April 25, 2026, according to the announcement. Her death is background to the newly announced estate sales.
