The Denver Broncos defeated the Carolina Panthers 26–21 on Sunday, November 8, turning a goal-line interception into a fourth-quarter comeback before forcing a late turnover to protect the lead.

Denver improved to 7–2 with its fifth consecutive victory. Carolina fell to 3–5 after a third straight defeat in the game at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina.

The pivotal defensive play came late in the third quarter, with Carolina leading 14–13 and threatening to extend its advantage from Denver’s one-yard line. A deflected Bryce Young pass was initially ruled incomplete, but Broncos coach Sean Payton challenged. The review awarded an interception to safety Devon Key.

Denver used the resulting possession to drive 80 yards. Jonah Coleman’s nine-yard touchdown run with 10:17 remaining put the Broncos ahead 19–14 after an unsuccessful two-point attempt. Bo Nix then found Pat Bryant for a 26-yard touchdown on the next scoring drive, stretching the lead to 26–14.

Carolina answered with a four-yard Young touchdown pass to Tetairoa McMillan and later regained possession with another opportunity to take the lead. That chance ended when Nik Bonitto stripped Young and recovered the fumble after the Panthers reached Denver territory.

Nix completed 25 of 37 passes for 237 yards, two touchdowns and an interception. Coleman carried 17 times for 57 yards. Young finished with 276 passing yards, three touchdowns and an interception.

The game had already changed direction twice. Denver scored the first 10 points and led 13–7 at halftime, before Young’s 15-yard touchdown pass to Darren Waller gave Carolina the lead to begin the second half. Key’s interception prevented the Panthers from building on that advantage.
