# Prime Video Sets January 13 Premiere for Fallout Competition Series

Fallout Shelter: The Experiment will release 10 episodes in January 2027, according to Amazon’s updated announcement.

Launch Catch-Up — Release Date Announced October 26, 2026

Prime Video has set January 13, 2027, as the premiere date for Fallout Shelter: The Experiment, an unscripted competition series based on the Fallout franchise.

Amazon added the release schedule to its project announcement October 26. The first four episodes are due January 13, followed by three episodes a week through January 27, completing a 10-episode season.

The competition places participants in fictional Vault-Tec shelters for physical tasks, psychological dilemmas and social challenges. One contestant will win a $1 million prize, according to the company.

Studio Lambert is producing the series with Kilter Films and in association with Bethesda Game Studios. Amazon says it will stream in more than 240 countries and territories.

The project was originally announced in January 2026. The new development is its January 2027 premiere schedule; the series has not yet debuted.
