Gogo reported lower third-quarter revenue on November 6 while announcing a debt-maturity extension and a renewed authorization for its U.S. air-to-ground aviation spectrum.

The Broomfield, Colorado-based connectivity provider recorded revenue of $213.2 million for the quarter ended September 30, down 5% from a year earlier and 4% from the second quarter. Its net loss was $3.2 million, or $0.02 per diluted share, according to the company’s results.

Service revenue fell 4% year over year to $182.7 million. Within that total, business-aviation service revenue declined 10% to $145.6 million, while military and government service revenue increased 36% to $37.2 million.

Equipment revenue decreased 9% to $30.5 million. Adjusted EBITDA, a non-GAAP measure, fell 27% to $41.0 million. Operating activities generated $26.3 million in cash.

The company said it had amended an approximately $600 million term loan, extending its maturity to October 2030. The arrangement commits Gogo to $75 million in principal repayments through the end of 2027, including an immediate $25 million reduction.

Gogo also announced that the Federal Communications Commission had renewed its commercial aviation air-ground radiotelephone licenses through October 31, 2036. The company said the authorization covers its nationwide 800 MHz spectrum and 150 towers. The announcement did not specify the date of the FCC’s decision.

Its operating figures showed a shift toward satellite connectivity. Gogo shipped 172 Galileo equipment units during the quarter, up 95% from a year earlier, and reported 297 Galileo aircraft online. Its air-to-ground aircraft-online total fell 17% year over year to 5,399.

Gogo retained its 2026 forecast for revenue of $870 million to $895 million and adjusted EBITDA of $175 million to $185 million. Those figures are management projections; adjusted EBITDA supplements rather than replaces the reported accounting results.
