Launch Catch-Up — Collection Announcement Made October 26, 2026

The Parrish Art Museum in Water Mill, New York, announced additions to its collection on October 26, combining photorealist painting with contemporary sculpture and collage.

The museum said a forthcoming Seven Bridges Foundation gift includes eleven photorealist paintings made between 1990 and 2017. Artists represented include Richard Estes, Ralph Goings, Roberto Bernardi and Raphaella Spence. The works will expand an existing holding of roughly 30 pieces in that style.

That gift also includes Marie Watt's Almanac: Seven Generation, a 2007 work combining cast bronze, wool blankets and a cedar pedestal.

Other announced additions include Sam Moyer's Montrose, a 2014 stone-and-canvas work donated by Alexis Klein Sarfatti through Museum Exchange. Its canvas was dyed and bleached outdoors on Long Island's North Fork.

Artist Alix Pearlstein contributed three works previously included in the museum's Artists Choose Parrish presentation.

The museum framed the acquisitions around photorealism and living artists connected to the East End. The announcement does not give a public display date for every addition.
