Devin Booker scored seven consecutive points after a late tie as the Phoenix Suns defeated the Houston Rockets 102–99 on Saturday, November 7, in Phoenix, Arizona.

Booker finished with 24 points. His basket broke a 95–95 tie with less than four minutes remaining, and a three-pointer and another basket extended Phoenix’s advantage to seven. Kevin Durant missed a potential tying three-pointer in the closing seconds.

The result gave Phoenix its first consecutive wins of the season, following Thursday’s victory over Orlando. It also ended the Suns’ eight-game losing streak against Houston.

Phoenix’s early shooting created a large advantage that disappeared before halftime. The Suns made 16 of 21 field-goal attempts in the first quarter and led 35–23, then managed only 12 points in the second quarter. Houston scored 24 in that period, bringing the teams level at 47–47.

The official linescore shows Phoenix holding a one-point advantage after three quarters, 76–75. The Suns outscored the Rockets 26–24 in the fourth to finish the game without overtime.

The league’s game statistics recorded 17 lead changes and 12 ties. Phoenix’s largest lead was 19 points, while Houston’s largest was six. The Suns’ reserves contributed 34 points, compared with 15 from the Rockets’ bench.

Jalen Green added 16 points for Phoenix, and Miles Bridges had 13 points and 10 rebounds. Durant led Houston with 21 points and 10 rebounds.

Booker also played his 745th regular-season game for the Suns, moving past Steve Nash into third place in franchise history.
