Bournemouth won 2–1 at Ipswich Town on Sunday, November 8, with Evanilson scoring in a fifth consecutive Premier League match.
The Brazilian forward opened the scoring after taking the ball from Ipswich goalkeeper Christian Walton at Portman Road in Ipswich, England. Walton had attempted to move past the striker rather than clear the ball, allowing Evanilson to finish into an empty net.
A Leif Davis own goal gave Bournemouth its second goal. Jack Clarke later converted a penalty for Ipswich, but the hosts could not produce an equalizer.
The victory moved Bournemouth into seventh place. Evanilson’s sequence makes him the first Bournemouth player to score in five successive Premier League games.
His league scoring run began against Chelsea in October and continued against Sunderland, Manchester United and Leeds before Sunday’s trip to Ipswich.
The away side took all three points despite Ipswich reducing the deficit, extending its recent winning form ahead of the international break.
