Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design announced October 30 that artist and filmmaker Julian Glander will give a free public talk at its Lakewood, Colorado, campus on November 10.

The event is scheduled for 6 p.m. Mountain time at the Mary Harris Auditorium, with doors opening at 5:30 p.m. The college said audiences can attend in person or watch through its RMCAD Live service. Registration is available through the event announcement.

Glander’s presentation is described as a “choose your own adventure” artist talk. It forms part of the college’s 2026–27 Friction Series, organized through its Visiting Artist, Scholar, and Designer program.

The announcement concerns a forthcoming event. It does not describe a talk that has already taken place or a new film premiere on October 30.

Glander is a Pittsburgh-based artist whose work spans 3D animation, illustration, directing, composition and games. The college’s announcement highlights his independent animated feature Boys Go to Jupiter and the game ART SQOOL as examples of that range.

His published work includes 3D Sweeties, a collection of comics, and illustrations for I Want To Be A Vase, written by Julio Torres. The college also cites projects for Adult Swim, Disney, HBO Max and Cartoon Network.

RMCAD’s director of creative programming, Gretchen Schaefer, said the invitation reflects an interest in how multidisciplinary artists combine distinctive visual styles with social commentary. That description sets out the program’s intended focus rather than a review of a presentation not yet delivered.

The school said the talk is open to the public at no charge. The announced start time, campus location and streaming option are the practical details currently provided for prospective attendees.
