Launch Catch-Up — Premiere Announced October 25, 2026

Netflix scheduled Dilwali Diwali for a November 5 premiere in an October 25 announcement, adding a family reunion story to its holiday programming.

The film stars Mihir Ahuja, Manoj Pahwa, Neelu Kohli and Aurra Bhatnagar. Ritu Mago wrote the screenplay and Ritesh Menon directed, according to the streaming company.

Terribly Tiny Tales is behind the project, continuing an association with Netflix that includes Greater Kalesh and Musafir Cafe.

The fictional story follows Ansh Sikka, played by Ahuja, who returns home for Diwali after working abroad. Having bought his Punjabi parents a new apartment, he discovers that their understanding of home differs from his idea of giving them a better life.

Netflix describes intergenerational expectations as the focus of the family’s reunion. Those plot details come from the company’s announcement, rather than an independent screening.

The film’s release remains scheduled for November 5; the October announcement does not mean it is already streaming.
