Launch Catch-Up — Partnership Announced October 22, 2026
Netflix and Hoichoi announced an agreement October 22 to bring programming from the Bengali-focused streaming platform to Netflix in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
Netflix said the partnership covers Hoichoi series premiering during the next two years, with those three-language versions exclusive to Netflix. New releases will arrive alongside their Bengali debuts on Hoichoi.
The initial selection includes 14 existing titles, spanning crime, mystery, horror, courtroom drama and romance. Among them are Sampurna, Lajja, The Curse of Parnashavari, Parineeta: A Love Story and Mahanagar.
The first announced new premiere under the arrangement is The Cursed Temple of Kauriburi, starring Jeetu Kamal, Solanki Roy and Paoli Dam, scheduled for November 6.
The announcement describes a distribution and adaptation partnership. It does not disclose financial terms or establish that every listed title is immediately available in every country; viewers’ access depends on the rollout and local catalog.
