Read/Write Labs announced an expanded leadership and advisory team on October 28 as the neuroscience and artificial-intelligence company adopted a new identity from Dandelion Science.

The company named Jim DiCarlo and Dan Yamins as external scientific fellows and Stephen Wolfram as an external advisor. It also appointed Katherine Fairchild as chief technology officer and Ben Lönnqvist as head of NeuroAI.

Co-founders Adam Hanina and Martin Schrimpf lead the company as chief executive and chief scientific officer, respectively. Fairchild previously worked at Digital Diagnostics and the MIT Siegel Family Quest for Intelligence, according to the announcement.

The company describes its research as developing computational models that predict responses to sensory or direct neural stimulation, with the aim of studying brain disorders and potential treatments. It also plans to explore how brain data could inform AI systems.

These are research objectives, rather than evidence of an approved therapy or demonstrated clinical benefit. The announcement explicitly says DiCarlo and Yamins serve individually and their university affiliations do not imply institutional endorsement.
